YAWNING ABYSS 7

The next day, Kaileen rumbled up to the Benny’s Burger Bar. Apparently, she had arrived as the lunch rush was dying down; there were four cars in the large parking lot and two of those were pulling out.

Inside, a glance around told Kaileen that her parents were not there. She sighed and strolled up to the counter.

Halfway to the counter, Kaileen stopped and stared. A young woman was turned, talking to a coworker and Kaileen watched.

The Benny’s Burger Bar employee was an identical twin for Kaileen Paula Withers. Her whitish blonde hair was pulled back into a ponytail, but even in a ponytail, her hair reached to the small of her back. Her eyes, what Kaileen could see, were ice blue in color. Her nose was a small one, her lips were full and pouting, even as she talked.

Her chest was substantial; Kaileen guessed they were at least a double D on the young woman’s slender frame.

The girl’s buttocks strained the drab brown polyester slacks. When she raised her hands above her head, to make a point, the brown and red uniform blouse rose up, showing that the girl had to gather in the waistband of her slacks to fit her slim waist.

Finished with her tale, the girl fixed a smile on her beautiful face and turned to approach the cash register. Her ice blue eyes, and her perfect mouth opened in shock as she saw Kaileen.

“I, holy shit!” the girl stammered.

“I know, right?” Kaileen recovered. “You tell me your name’s Kaileen, I’ll just fall out right here, I swear!”

“I, uh, no, I, it’s Rachael,” Rachael Ann Truesdale stammered.

“I’m Kaileen,” Kaileen smiled.

“I, you know what you want?” Rachael asked, still unnerved.

Kaileen looked at her watch, saw that it was five minutes after one o’clock. She looked through the plate glass door to the parking lot and saw no sign of any new arrivals. With a sigh, she turned her attention to Rachael.

“Half pound, regular fries, hmm, regular chocolate malt,” Kaileen decided. “Seen your sign, a thousand ways fix your burger.”

“Uh huh,” Rachael agreed, pointing to the long salad bar in the center of the restaurant. “They got all them fixings over there put on your burger.”

“Where you from? That ain’t no Colorado accent,” Kaileen asked, smiling.

“This bitty place bet you ain’t never heard of it,” Rachael smiled. “DeGarde, well, actually Kimble, in Louisiana.”

“Myndee, Arkansas,” Kaileen offered, swiping her card.

While Kaileen looked over the forty or fifty choices to put on a hamburger, her cell phone rang. She pulled it out of her jacket.

“Where are you?” Jason demanded, anger spilling through the phone.

“Benny’s…” Kaileen started to say.

“The fuck you are! We’re right here. Right here and you ain’t here nowhere,” Jason snarled.

“You’re at the one on forty-nine?” Kaileen verified, even swiveling her head to look around the restaurant.

“Huh? No, the one right here, right by where we’re staying at,” Jason said. “Stephanie, she said the one on forty-nine?”

Kaileen heard her mother agree. She smirked when she heard Stephanie tell Jason she had told him to go to the one on forty-nine, not the one on Scott Boulevard, forty-nine, forty nine, not Scott, but Jason knew better.

“God damn. And, damn, take us least twenty minutes get there,” Jason said.

“Listen, this is shot,” Kaileen sighed. “Tell y’all what. You know where Daughters is at. How ’bout dinner there tomorrow, um, ’bout seven?”

“Yeah, right, smart ass,” Jason snarled. “Like we can ‘ford that shit, huh?”

“Jesus. My treat, all right?” Kaileen spat, nodding to Rachael to let the girl know that she’d heard her call out her number.

“Tomorrow night. Seven o’clock, at Daughters Steaks,” Stephanie now confirmed. “And I told your father you’d said the Benny’s on forty-nine.”

Taking the tray to the salad bar, Kaileen poured the melted nacho cheese onto the bun. She dribbled some jalapeno peppers, some guacamole’ and some fiery salsa onto the bun. Then she slapped a pineapple slice onto the meat patty.

“So? How is it?” Rachael asked as she wiped down a table near Kaileen.

“Mm? Pretty good,” Kaileen agreed, swallowing her mouthful.

“O.M.G! That your bike?” Rachael asked, spotting Kaileen’s motorcycle through the plate glass door.

“Huffy is a bike. Schwinn is a bike,” Kaileen said, parroting what the owner of the Coronation Harley-Davidson dealership had thundered when Kaileen had made the same faux pas. “That? That’s a Harley. That’s a Fat Boy. That’s a hog, a ride, a sled. That is not a bike.”

“Wow, that is beautiful,” Rachael said, not paying any attention to Kaileen’s terse statement. “I can get a ride?”

“What time, when you get off?” Kaileen asked, watching Rachael’s taut buttocks as the girl busied herself with wiping down a table.

“Mm, four thirty,” Rachael said, glancing over her shoulder at the large clock.

“Be back to get you,” Kaileen said, finishing her meal.

“For real? Awesome!” Rachael said, her smile revealing what six thousand dollars of orthodontic work had achieved.

The Harley-Davidson dealership in Raquel Falls sold Kaileen a helmet. Kaileen looked over the selection, smirking at the novelty helmets, but settled on a pink helmet identical to the white one she wore.

At four fifteen, Kaileen again rumbled up to the Benny’s Burger Bar on Highway 49. She entered the restaurant, waved to Rachael, then pointed out toward the parking lot.

“Okay,” Rachael smiled widely.

A few moments later, Rachael skittered around the side of the building, struggling into a threadbare coat. Kaileen smiled at her new friend’s enthusiasm.

“Hi! Oh! My favorite color!” Rachael enthused as Kaileen held out the pink helmet.

“Figured; mine too,” Kaileen agreed. “Now, when you got be home?”

“I, whenever I get there,” Rachael said, shrugging.

“Need call them?” Kaileen asked, fumbling to get her cell phone out.

“I done that already,” Rachael said, trying to figure out how to cinch the helmet’s strap.

“Here,” Kaileen said and looped the chin strap through the hoops.

When her fingers came into contact with Rachael’s soft skin, Kaileen felt a shiver. The two girls stared at each other for a long moment. Then Kaileen gave a final jerk to the strap.

Kaileen started the powerful engine and jerked her head toward the rear of the seat. Rachael swung her leg up and over.

“Anywhere?” Kaileen asked as Rachael’s arms came around her waist.

“Yeah!” Rachael shouted over the engine’s barking.

Rachael’s arms tightened around Kaileen’s torso as Kaileen pulled out of the parking lot. She pressed herself tightly against Kaileen’s back.

Kaileen could feel Rachael’s arms just underneath her heavy breasts. She could feel Rachael’s large breasts mashed against her back, even through her thick leather jacket.

They barreled through Benhurst’s longer streets, highways. Then Kaileen took them to Raquel Falls. Kaileen’s smile widened when she heard Rachael’s excited squeal as they hurtled over some railroad tracks.

“Getting hungry?” Kaileen asked, coming to a stop at a red light.

“I yeah,” Rachael agreed. “But I, I don’t got no money.”

“It’s okay,” Kaileen assured her new friend. “I got this.”

They rumbled to 110 Hunter’s Row and came to a stop inside the large garage. Rachael let out a whoop as she clambered off of the powerful motorcycle.

“Man! Love your bike!” Rachael whooped.

“Huffy is a…” Kaileen said.

“Oh, shut up,” Rachael giggled, mashing Kaileen in a fierce hug.

Kaileen ushered Rachael into the living quarters. Rachael hung her shoddy coat on a coat tree just inside the home. Then she took a slow tour of the room.

As Rachael admired the claw foot tub, Kaileen pulled out last night’s spaghetti and meatballs. She reheated the sauce adding a handful of grated parmesan cheese to the bubbling sauce.

“Mm, that smells so good,” Rachael said, looking over Kaileen’s shoulder.

Kaileen smiled as Rachael gave her an impulsive hug from behind.

Over dinner, emboldened by the heady red wine Kaileen had liberated from her restaurant, Rachael told Kaileen of her childhood.

My daddy loved me. He didn’t want me, I just come along,” Rachael said. “My mom? Really? Nothing but a whore, fuck anyone as long as there’s anything in it for her. This is good; this come out a jar?”

“Ought slap you; this come out a jar?” Kaileen screeched.

“Anyway, my dad? Don’t give in to my mom’s shit. She wants a car, a real expensive car? My dad gets her one they can afford. She wanted this real big house in Baylor Lake? My dad bought them a house in Kimble instead,” Rachael continued. “And then one day, my mom meets this guy, Mr. Richard? Tells him she’s divorced, tells him she’s pregnant and he’s the daddy and next thing I know, my parents are divorced. My dad? Was real broken up about it. I mean, he didn’t love my mom, didn’t want me, but come to love my mom and me, and then my mom just ups and moves out. I’m the kid; I got no say-so, I got to live with her and Mr. Richard. He was a real nice guy, really tried hard be a good step-father, but of course I’m a total bitch to the poor guy, man! What kind wine this is?”

“Don’t know; got it out a jar,” Kaileen teased, showing Rachael the bottle.

“And you would think, my mom’s got this guy, willing give her whatever she wants? She’d oh, I don’t know, uh, figure out don’t be a bitch, don’t fuck it all up? But nooo. Tells Richard she’s going out with some home-boy, oh! I uh, hey, you uh, you ain’t into that shit, huh?” Rachael continued with her tale. “Black guys, I mean.”

“No, not really. I mean, I don’t got nothing ‘gainst that. Just ain’t my kind of thing,” Kaileen shrugged.

“Next thing I know, Richard’s got my stuff all packed up and I’m again living with my dad,” Rachael finished scraping the last of her meal into her pretty mouth. “Kicks my mom out and she’s living with my Aunt Donna; well, she’s not really my aunt, she’s my mom’s cousin and then my dad meets April and you’d think I’d have learned my lesson by now, but nope. I’m a total bitch to Miss April and get even worse when they marry and not even a month later, my dad dies and Miss April laughs and tells me ain’t Karma a bitch and kicks me out my house.”

“Not really sure they can do that, huh?” Kaileen offered.

“And so now, I’m living with my mom and Aunt Donna in this crappy trailer and start going out with Trey; he lives trailer next one over and my mom tells me stay away from him and…” Rachael continued as Kaileen gathered up their dishes.

“…and course you just GOT go out with him now, huh?” Kaileen guessed.

“Yeah, ’cause my mom don’t know shit; I’m a hundred times smarter than her, right?” Rachael agreed. “Anyway, that’s what I’m doing out here. Legal marijuana, you know.”

“You do that?” Kaileen asked.

“Me? No; actually, can’t stand the stuff. Just makes me feel stupid as shit,” Rachael admitted. “You?”

“Nope. Tried it; just didn’t like it,” Kaileen admitted, pulling Rachael to her feet. “Come on. Couch’s a lot better than these chairs.”

On the plush couch, Kaileen sat, her right leg tucked underneath herself, and faced Rachael. She stretched her right arm out, along the back of the couch, close to Rachel’s shoulder. Rachael twisted slightly to face Kaileen. Sitting this close, Kaileen could now smell her guest’s sweat, could smell the odor of food clinging to Rachael’s uniform. It wasn’t a thoroughly unpleasant smell, though.

Getting comfortable, Rachael finished telling her tale of her journey from Kimble, Louisiana to Benhurst, Colorado.

Trey Edmonton was twenty-seven years old, still living with his mother in the trailer park when he’d met the gorgeous, and angry Rachael Ann Truesdale. Because Amber, Rachael’s mother had told Rachael to stay away from Trey, Rachael was easy pickings for Trey. A little alcohol, some whispered words of love and longing and needing and the eighteen-year-old girl willingly spread her legs.

The thought of moving to Colorado frightened Rachael; she knew no one in Colorado and knew nothing about the state. Trey’s promises of money, real money did little to persuade Rachael. But again, her mother’s insistence that the now nineteen-year-old girl could not go to Colorado was all the incentive Rachael needed. She was, after all, an adult; her mother couldn’t tell Rachael what to do and not to do.

“Oh. And guess what? You a felon? They don’t let you open a pot shop in Benhurst County,” Rachael spat bitterly.

“Y’all didn’t look that up before y’all moved here?” Kaileen asked.

Rachael admitted that she had not thought to look into the rules and regulations. She had just jammed her clothes into a garbage bag and jumped into Trey’s mother’s 1992 Buick Century.

Arriving in Benhurst, they rented an apartment; that took every last penny Rachael had managed to bring with them. Then, after completely depleting their combined money, Trey had to admit he would not be able to fulfill the dream of owning his own pot shop.

Rachael spoke of working twenty to twenty-four hours a week, for ten cents above minimum wage at Benny’s Burger Bar, of always being broke because every penny had to go to rent and utilities. With a grimace of pain, Rachael admitted she was homesick; missed Kimble, Louisiana.

“What about your mom?” Kaileen asked.

“My mom? Said ‘you made your bed, now you got to lie in it,'” Rachael admitted, taking another sip of her wine.

“Uh huh, but uh, can wash the sheets every now and then, huh?” Kaileen suggested.

Can wash… Going have remember that one,” Rachael giggled, taking another sip of wine.

Rachael spoke of Trey’s chronic unemployment. Her pretty face took on a dark caste when she told Kaileen about Charlie Menendez, Trey’s former girlfriend ‘unexpectedly’ appearing in Benhurst. Charlie managed to open a pot shop, and Charlie’s first hire had been her old boyfriend, Trey Edmonton.

They lapsed into silence. Kaileen allowed her hand to fall from the couch’s back to lightly rest on Rachael’s slim shoulder. Rachael looked up, blue eyes wide. Kaileen smiled softly.

“Want some more?” Kaileen asked, touching the wine glass in Rachael’s hand.

“”Hmm?” Rachael asked, draining her glass.

“Wine. Want some more wine?” Kaileen asked, now holding onto Rachael’s hand.

“No,” Rachael said, looking slightly nervous.

“You, I’m making you nervous?” Kaileen asked, leaning forward.

“I, huh? No, no, course not,” Rachael denied, frozen.

“Rachael,” Kaileen said softly.

“I, I ain’t never, I mean, you know, uh, with another girl,” Rachael whispered, cheeks flaming bright red.

“Do you want to?” Kaileen asked, voice a soft whisper.

Rachael again froze. Then, ice blue eyes wide, she mutely nodded her head in agreement.

Kaileen smiled and stood. Gently, she pulled Rachael to her feet.

Chapter 15—A very pretty pussy.

“Do you want the light off?” Kaileen whispered, pulling Rachael to the side of the bed.

“I, off,” Rachael hissed.

“Okay,” Kaileen said.

Before moving to turn off the bedside lamp, though, Kaileen pulled Rachael in for a hug. They were eye to eye; both being five feet, four inches tall. Kaileen shivered as their large breasts mashed together.

Rachael woodenly returned the hug. But when Kaileen leaned forward and gently kissed Rachael’s lips, Rachael’s grip intensified.

“Leave it on,” Rachael demanded when Kaileen moved to pull out of their embrace.

“Good,” Kaileen agreed. “I like the light on.”

She again kissed Rachael’s lips. The kiss was a soft, gentle kiss, closed mouth to closed mouth. There was no insistence, no force behind the kiss.

Kaileen brought her right hand up from Rachael’s slim waist, up along Rachael’s spine, to the base of Rachael’s neck. Her fingertips gently traced Rachael’s neck to throat, then back again. Her lips touched Rachael’s lips as her fingers went to the scrunchie that held Rachael’s ponytail

“Oh!” Rachael quietly hissed as Kaileen’s fingers now combed out Rachael’s waist-length blonde hair.

Kaileen’s other hand came up and unbuttoned the single button at the back of the uniform blouse. As she combed out Rachael’s long hair, Kaileen gently eased the zipper all the way down. The opening ended just below Rachael’s broad bra strap.

“Oh!” Rachael sucked in a breath as Kaileen’s left hand raked gently over her exposed back.

Rachael fiercely jammed her lips against Kaileen’s lips. She opened her mouth and licked at Kaileen’s lips. Kaileen opened her mouth and sucked on Rachael’s tongue.

“Mm-mm!” Rachael grunted, involuntarily thrusting her pelvis forward, rubbing her crotch against Kaileen’s denim-clad crotch.

Kaileen tried to pull away from the embrace. Rachael’s grip intensified, holding Kaileen firmly in place. Rachael again shoved her tongue into Kaileen’s mouth.

Kaileen gently tugged on the hem of Rachael’s uniform blouse. Rachael got the message and released her grip.

“Ooh,” Rachael shivered as her bare shoulders and back and belly were exposed to the light chill in the air.

Kaileen pulled her own long sleeve Myndee University Blue Jays tee shirt up and off. Then, she again pulled Rachael in for an embrace. Rachael shut her eyes and leaned against Kaileen.

Their hands roamed up and down, touching each other’s exposed flesh. Kaileen wordlessly showed Rachael to use her fingernails to gently rake along Kaileen’s spine, her bare arms, her waist, her shoulders.

“Mm,” Rachael moaned into Kaileen’s mouth as they kissed.

“Mm,” Kaileen agreed.

Kaileen unclipped Rachael’s 32E bra. For a moment, Rachael froze, then resumed their kiss. Kaileen now raked her fingernails up and down Rachael’s smooth back.

On the fourth pass from slim waist to shoulders, Kaileen gently eased Rachael’s bra straps off of Rachael’s shoulders. Pulling her lips from Rachael’s lips, Kaileen bent her head and softly nuzzled Rachael’s throat. She trailed her soft lips from Rachael’s throat to her left shoulder.

“Uh!” Rachael grunted.

Kaileen deftly pulled her arms from around Rachael and quickly unhooked her own 32D bra. She brought her lips back to Rachael’s lips and, while she sucked on Rachael’s tongue, managed to wiggle both of their bras off.

“Mm, oh,” Rachael moaned as their bare breasts now mashed firmly against bare breasts.

Kaileen continued to gently rake her fingernails along Rachael’s flesh. Slim waist to slight shoulders. Down along Rachael’s spine, then out to Rachael’s sides. Up again, from slim waist to slight shoulders. Then Kaileen’s fingers danced along Rachael’s sides to the tops of Rachael’s heavy breasts. She danced along the tops of Rachael’s breasts as her lips again nuzzled Rachael’s throat.

Trailing her lips from Rachael’s throat to her right shoulder, Kaileen traced her fingers around Rachael’s large breasts. She dipped her fingers underneath Rachael’s breasts, hefting them lightly.

“Mm,” Rachael moaned her approval as Kaileen bent her head.

Kaileen trailed her soft kisses from Rachael’s right shoulder to the top of Rachael’s right breast. She planted gentle kisses around Rachael’s breast while her fingers continued to tease Rachael’s flesh.

“Come on,” Kaileen husked, urging Rachael to sit on the lip of her bed.

With one more kiss to Rachael’s gasping lips, Kaileen broke their embrace. She sank to her knees and worked the double knot of Rachael’s left shoe loose. She gently removed the heavily stained tennis shoe from Rachael’s foot, then undid the single knot that held Rachael’s right shoe on. She would ask Rachael about this later; why her left foot had a double knotted shoelace, but not her right foot.

Kaileen looked at her new lover. Rachael’s breasts sagged under their weight, but the girl’s light brown areolae and fat nipples pointed out at Kaileen. Both light brown dots were roughly the size of half-dollars, both were crinkled tight with excitement.

Rachael’s ribs were visible; she wasn’t emaciated, but her flesh was tight against her ribcage. Her waist was slim, with a dimple of a belly button in the pale white flesh.
